As a new DJ i’m growing each day, and its important to sometimes make myself move out of my comfort zone, so at 3am one night, inspiration struck. Rihanna’s ‘Rude boy’ would sound pretty sick with a Drum & Bass beat. So up i got, grabbed my Mac, downloaded some Edward Oberon tracks ( soulful D&B producer) and got a’mixin’. The result is below which has already got some very good feed back but then also some quite negative comments! Admittedly it is very odd on the ears and slightly experimental, but i’m still not sure, what do you reckon??
