So my first experience with hair dye was when i was 13 , at the time i had knee length beautiful dark brown curly hair. But hitting puberty with a bang, the first obvious point of rebellion was the barnet. So i cut it all off and dyed it red ( which actually turned out to be a sort of dark hue of orange- damn those organic veggie home dye kits) Over the years from orange it grew blonder and blonder and for a while i was fashioning the dark eyebrow / white blonde hair look ( retrospectively not the best idea) and not really being a salon/pampering kind of girl and i grew bored of spending 100 quid a pop of getting my roots done every month so i quit dying and for a year now i’ve been in a hair colour limbo ( do not mention dip dye, i’ve had this comment enough, it was not dip dye, not even close to being on trend like that, just simply neglect) So after much encouragement from my friends, i hauled my arse to Daniel Galvin, the renowned salon in George Street specialising in colour and went back to my roots! After 4 hours being preened and 7 years being a blonde here’s the result!
